Who we’re looking for

Simply Spoken Therapy is looking for an energetic and spunky part time Speech-Language Pathologist with a heart of gold to add to our growing practice. The right person will have a sunny disposition, strong clinical skills, and LOVE to serve kids! Basically, we are looking for someone with big ideas to help us take Simply Spoken Therapy to the next level!

Position Overview

This position is an exciting opportunity to grow as a professional and exercise your clinical skills in a variety of ways.  Position will start out part-time, 5-10 hours per week, but hopefully will develop into a full-time position. The perfect candidate would have experience in speech sound disorders, late talking toddlers, social communication disorders, language based learning disabilities, Autism and fluency. The right person will have a strong work ethic, be highly organized, and willing to go above and beyond for our amazing clients and families. This person will have a drive to learn and loves to challenge their clinical skills.

Work responsibilities include:

  • Proper administration and analysis of pediatric speech and language assessments
  • Develop, oversee, and implement client’s Plan of Care (POC)
  • Review, analyze data, observe program implementation and make necessary changes in client’s POC
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and educational professionals in order to share information and expertise associated with client success
  • Develop, oversee and implement social, literacy, and/or language groups
  • Collect, maintain and evaluate data on each client’s progress
  • Communicate openly and effectively with parents and supervisory staff
  • Help cover treatment sessions, when needed
  • Complete other job related duties and special assignments as directed
  • Conduct training workshops for families and/or schools
  • Participate in marketing events to promote Simply Spoken Therapy

Required Education/Certification:
Master’s Degree or PhD in Speech and Language Pathology, MS or MA
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
Wisconsin state license for Speech-Language Pathology (current and active)

Minimum of 2 years of pediatric speech therapy experience.
