Role and Responsibilities


Simply Spoken Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to work 36-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a mix of clinic and community settings. In this role, you will provide outpatient individual speech therapy to children and adolescents, helping them build confidence and communication skills. Experience in speech sound disorders, early intervention, social communication disorders, language-based learning disabilities, and Autism is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering on-site and limited off-site speech therapy services to clients, in accordance with company policies.

  • Maintaining regular, reliable attendance and timely arrival to work.

  • Communicating with patients’ treatment teams (PCPs, related service providers, schools, etc.) as needed.

  • Timely completion of written records, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge notes (by Friday of each week).

  • Keeping patient files accurate and up-to-date.

  • Participating in mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.

  • Developing and implementing social, literacy, and/or language groups as needed.

  • Conducting therapy services professionally to uphold and enhance Simply Spoken Therapy’s reputation.

  • Collaborating respectfully with coworkers and contributing to team success.

  • Participating in marketing events to promote Simply Spoken Therapy.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Traits

  • Required:

    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

    • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

    • Active, unrestricted license in the State of Wisconsin.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with Autism, early intervention, speech sound disorders, and social communication disorders.

    • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay and Work Setting

    • Compensation: Starting at $62,000 per year, based on experience, with potential for growth.

    • Work Setting: In-person (clinic-based).

    • Experience: Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience required.

    • License/Certification: Active WI state license (required).
