Role and Responsibilities
Simply Spoken Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to add to our growing practice. This position will work anywhere from 36-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, in and out of the clinic. SLP will provide outpatient individual speech therapy to clients of Simply Spoken Therapy. Clinical therapy services include treatment of children and adolescents. Experience in speech sound disorders, early intervention, social communication disorders, language based learning disabilities, and Autism are preferred. The person who fills this position must be able to provide regular and reliable attendance, and timely arrival to work is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site and limited off-site speech therapy services to clients of Simply Spoken Therapy, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Simply Spoken Therapy.
Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, related service providers, school, etc.) as necessary.
Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Simply Spoken Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week).
Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Simply Spoken Therapy.
Develop, oversee and implement social, literacy, and/or language groups as needed
Conduct and regulate speech therapy services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Simply Spoken Therapy.
Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.
Participate in marketing events to promote Simply Spoken Therapy
Other duties, as discussed and then assigned.
Required Qualifications and Traits
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech Language and hearing association (ASHA)
Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in speech language pathology; and
Active, unrestricted license in the State of Wisconsin.
Be organized and detail oriented.
Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.
Excellent Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Etc.) skills.
Align with Simply Spoken Therapy mission, vision, and values.
Must be punctual in reporting to work.
Be a team player.
Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
